Day 2 & 3 – The Longest Night & Dinosaurs (lots of dinosaurs)

The longest day morphed into the longest night.  There’s no way to describe it other than shocking!  Fin woke every hour until about 1am when he decided he wasn’t only going to wake up but stay awake for an hour and a half! It lasted till quarter to four when we all got up and had breakfast!  Luckily we got to go back to bed about five thirty and all managed to sleep until eight.  It was horrible!  But, it’s over now.

We headed out later that morning to take a closer look at the worlds largest dinosaur – so close we were able to climb up through it’s insides and look out between it’s jaws.  Lunch at Humpty’s then afternoon naps followed.

We learnt something new about Granny today too.  Granny has frisbee skills!  They require a little homing but the basics are there, we have some frisbee golf planned for Fernie.

On our way out of Drumheller the next day we made a stop at the Royal Tyrrell Museum.  It was incredible – educational and enjoyable at the same time with wonderful exhibits and fossils.
